Gig Harbor is a peaceful waterfront village that feels hundreds of miles from the hustle and bustle of city life, but in reality, it’s just 10 minutes from downtown Tacoma, across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Small coffee shops, bookstores, and restaurants line the streets, and out on the water, visitors can rent a kayak, rent an electric boat, or even take a Venetian gondola tour of the entire harbor on the Gig Harbor Gondola. Gig Harbor is also home to the most decorated craft distillery in the United States, Heritage Distilling, which offers tours and tastings on the waterfront seven days a week.
