Built in the Beaux-Arts style, the Pacific County Courthouse was completed in 1910 and named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. It is best known for its Tiffany-style stained-glass dome, an extravagance even for its day. The murals in the rotunda were painted by an inmate serving time who was also an artist. The courthouse is open to the public on weekdays during regular business hours.
