Further north, don’t miss the Hoh Rain Forest, one of the largest temperate rainforests in the USA. Check out the Visitor Center at theHall of Mosses Trailhead. The lush green canopy of this mystical forest is kept moist and green by over 12 feet of rain per year. The rain forest is a living laboratory of discovery for old and young alike. Keep a watchful eye out for wildlife, from the small elusive banana slugs to the majestic local Roosevelt Elk herd.
